Dear Community Parents, Families and Partners,
Just For Men in Collaboration with the NOMO Foundation would like to invite you out to the "Urban Call Out for Men Making a Difference!" April 14, 2016, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at The School District of Philadelphia, 440 N. Broad St., Room 1080.
Public schools in were created to help parents and the whole community prepare young people to become productive, responsible adults. They cannot exist - much less function effectively - without the support of the community they are expected to serve.
Your participation can make a difference for public schools. Working with others you can help create a climate that fosters and supports significant school improvement. Whether you are a businessperson, a grandparent, a parent with school age children, or simply a concerned citizen, you have an important role to play.
Community partnerships can be effective in eliciting change both at the systems level and at the individual behavior level, in our schools and communities. Multi-agency activities can increase coordination of efforts between public and private agencies, and between service providers.
