Hello School Leaders!



On June 2 nd, Mazzoni Center and the School District of Philadelphia is
hosting LEAD 2016, a student conference for LGBTQ students/allies and
professionals ( flier attached ). This free conference brings together
students, teachers, and principals to network and learn different
strategies to create safer school environments as well as workshops such as
Ways to Combat Bullying, HIV and its Impact on Youth in Philadelphia,
Coming Out, and many more. There will be a community organization fair for
students to gather even more information and resources for their schools.
If you would like to send students to the conference, below is information
on how to do so–



Location: School District of Philadelphia, 440 N. Broad Street

Date: Thursday June 2 nd

Time: 8:15am – 3PM
