Hi Karen,
I don't know if you can help us, we are the Healthy Kids Running Series in South Philadelphia http://www.healthykidsrunningseries.org/race_locations/south-philly-pa/ . We are in desperate need of volunteers to help us with our Sunday night races in FDR Park. We have over 60 children running in the races and I need more support on the course for the children running. Because this is in FDR Park (Philadelphia Parks and Recreation) volunteers must be background criminal clearance and child abuse cleared. If you know of any way to get in touch with people who may be interested or can post this info to potential volunteers I would be so grateful! We have shirts and lots of fruit and water at every race that volunteers are more than welcome to, plus its super fun watching the kids race! We started April 17th (postponed our first week due to weather) so we will run every Sunday night until May 15th at 5:30 pm- if volunteers can be there at 5 pm that is great!
